How frequently do we hear the words: “Work now, enjoy later.”?
But one dare ask, “When is later?" In your 50’s? 60’s? Never?
The idea of ‘hustle culture’, the romanticism of unrealistic productivity, often ends up being a suffocating prerequisite for burnout. You will find numerous influencers posting their “daily routines” to look constructive.
But productivity isn’t just getting up at 6 am to work the entire day; having a mental break is productive, too. A moment of peace to yourself isn’t dishonesty, especially at the moment you need it most.
And so, one may ask, what is the point of it all?
For me, the aim isn’t just high-end luxury items, it’s being ‘rich’ enough to make a difference. The goal isn’t fame, it’s good company you can rely on. It’s not mansions, it’s a house that feels like home. It’s not ‘is this Instagram worthy?’, it’s having a beautiful collection of memories to look back on, no matter how silly. It’s living in the moment, taking time out for the sake of you.

You only have one life. The goal, in my humble opinion, is to live, not just survive. But somehow, along the way, we almost forgot this was the whole point.
